micro1 takes a proactive and principled approach to data privacy in the design and operation of our AI Recruiter. We recognize that candidate information is highly sensitive and are committed to handling it in full compliance with international privacy regulations, client expectations, and ethical best practices.

Our Core Privacy Principles

• Data Minimization: We collect only what is necessary for the evaluation process.
• No Training on Customer Data: Candidate data is never used to train our internal models
• Anonymization: All internal usage of data (e.g., for QA or calibration) is anonymized. PII and PHI are explicitly excluded.
• Retention Control: Clients define retention periods; data is automatically deleted upon contract termination or earlier upon request.

Third-Party Vendor Safeguards

• We only use enterprise-grade third-party LLMs that support opt-out from training and comply with privacy-focused terms.
• All API calls are secured and handled through access-controlled environments.
• We do not participate in any vendor data-sharing or model improvement programs.
